- Tour Route:Beijing--Lhasa--Gyangtze--Shigatse--Lhasa--Shanghai
- Day 1 Beijing
- On arrival, our professional guide will hold a welcome sign with your name to meet you and transfer to the hotel. The guide will give you some tips on local restaurants that we recommend and shopping in streets nearby. The rest of the day is free on your own to rest to recover from jetlag or to explore by yourself.
- Tips: Today if you arrive in Beijing in the morning, we suggest you have a good rest at the hotel first, and then if you feel energetic and would like to go outside by yourself, you are advised to take 10 minutes' taxi to the restored Qianmen street, which has been prosperous for over 600 years as the commercial center since Ming dynasty. With the length of no more than 2 kilometers, Qianmen street embodies both old and new architectures of China. The reopening of Qianmen street presents the new face of old Beijing.

- Day 2 Beijing
- After breakfast we will visit the Tian'anmen Square, the symbol of Beijing . Walking through to check out the many points of interest.It's much bigger than you think . After a real chinese lunch, you will be able to experience the ancient emperor's daily life at the Forbidden City from where the Emperors from the Ming and Qing dynasties governed for over 500 years. It is the essence and a "must see" in Beijing. Treasure Houses will show us all kinds of treasure which owned by Qing dynasty royalty. Today you will have the opportunity to take a rickshaw ride to the Hutong where we visit a local flea market which is an excellent example of typical architecture of this area. You may find some interesting things and learn how to bargain. You will also visit with a local family and talk to the family members to gain a true understanding of life in this region and to have an experience of this unique form of community. Followed by a chinese flavour dinner you will enjoy a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre in the evening.

- Day 3 Beijing
- You will be Chinese for the morning as we join with the thousand of local people as they practice Tai Chi at the Temple of Heaven before breakfast. It's your decision to join in or just watch. After a chinese style lunch,we will visit the Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall - which has some unique characteristics over other sections. It is surrounded by wonderful landscape and has a rarely seen structure formed by three connected watch towers and the cable car provides a safe comfortable assent and decent. On the way back to downtown, drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium). You will see its appearance at a distance. A memorable Beijing roasted duck dinner is served for you at a famous Quanjude restaurant in the evening.

- Day 4 Beijing--Lhasa
- After breakfast, take a morning flight to Lhasa . On arrival ,transfer to the hotel and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. Dinner will be arranged for you at the hotel.
- Tips: Tibet is a land of mystery and surprise. Please make sure you have a good rest and adaptation to the high altitude after arrival. Avoid some strenuous activities such as walking so fast, running, swimming, bathing on the first day. Take some necessary medicines if you have and please do not get cold before entering Tibet. In case you feel uncomfortable, oxygen tanks are available both in the car and your hotel.

- Day 5 Lhasa
- Morning,have a guided tour to the Lhasa's cardinal landmark-Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch ,visit the Sera Monastery(which was founded in 1419 by Sakya Yeshe, a disciple of Tsongkhapa) and the Norbulingka Park.
- Tips: In the Potala Palace, According to the local custom, you have to tour clockwise around; don't step on the doorsill; don't smoke in the halls; don't take photos without permission! It is not easy for visitors to climb to the top building because of its height, so you'd better slow down. Because the halls are always chilly; you'd better take a coat while visiting!

- Day 6 Lhasa
- Morning,visit the Jokhang Temple and the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street. After having a western-style lunch,continue to visit the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory. Dinner is served at your hotel.
- Tips: As the oldest street in Lhasa, the Barkhor Street epitomizes the unique features of Lhasa or even Tibet. The time-honored street welcomes thousands of tourists and pilgrims every day and appears to tell the long story of Tibet. It is not only a venue for prayers but the most prosperous commercial district for local people and tourists. It is lined with the stalls and stores on both sides. The majority of the commodities are of the Indian, Nepalese and Tibetan style. It is better for you to take more care when picking up the goods, for there might be some fake ones mixed with the good ones.

- Day 7 Lhasa--Gyangtse
- After breakfast, drive to Gyangtse. Stop off at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain .Transfer to the hotel upon arrival.Then visit the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street.Dinner is arranged for you at the hotel.
- Tips:The local condition is not comparable with those big cities. It takes longer time to transfer from one place to another, so you will spend a lot of time on the vehicle if you explore further Tibet. But enjoying the fascinating natural scenery along the way should not make the journey boring.

- Day 8 Gyangtse - Shigatse
- Morning,transfer to Shigatse and check in at the hotel. Visit the Tashilunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen.
- Tips: In Shigatse, the temperature difference between the daytime and nighttime is extreme. During the day, especially at noon, the high temperature may cause sunstroke while the low temperature at night may contribute to people catching colds. Accordingly, warm and windproof clothes are highly recommended.

- Day 9 Shigatse - Lhasa
- Morning,back to Lhasa and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is all free for you to recover from the fatigue . Dinner is arranged for you at the hotel.

- Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel.
